How To Use Your DSLR

Salam/hi.

Here are some tips, on how to mess around with your DSLR, of course this tips are focused on people who are still new with DSLR setting and configuration. There are some of essential tips in using DSLR. Of course there are lot more of things to be consider

1) Aperture priority setting:
  • To get more out of focus background, use larger aperture.
  • Suitable for taking portrait pictures.
  • It will automatically set the shutter speed to the suitable number to get balance exposure.
  • Smaller aperture is very useful in taking landscape picture.
  • Smaller aperture will make the shutter speed longer thus giving sharper background in the image.
  • Tripod is very important gear in this shooting mode.

Look at the background of the image. See the difference.

2) ISO setting:
  • ISO setting differ for each camera.
  • It is use to help shooting in low light condition.
  • Larger ISO will give you brighter image in low light place.
  • However, the disadvantage of this is it will add more noise to your image which is really unfavourable.
