Mass Effect 2 Review

Name : Mass Effect 2
Genre : Action RPG
Platform : Xbox 360, PC
Developer : BioWare
Publisher : Electronic Arts
Mass Effect 2 Review:
Mass Effect 2 sucks. Those are the words you’ll never ever get to hear come out of anyone’s mouth anytime soon. BioWare, once again manages to show us how huge of a behemoth they are when it comes to PC RPGs. Just when we’re still hooked on playing Dragon Age : Origins, they drop off another huge bomb at us in the form of Mass Effect 2.
Now, chances are, you’ve probably played the first Mass Effect, so you’d probably be familiar with the gameplay. Basically, a few things have changed, and probably for the better. The weapon overheat feature has been replaced with ammo count. The biotics and tech skills that you have are more readily available since the charge time is shortened. Unfortunately, they replaced the grenades with heavy weapons. Not that it’s a bad thing but, was it so hard to put both in the game? Still, no more overheating, heavy weapons and faster charge times equals more action, although you still have to plan out some simple strategy in taking out enemies. Also, this time around rocket launchers and blasts do less damage. Some might shun this as being a downgrade since it makes things easier, but I remember a lot of deaths coming out from rocket launchers in the first Mass Effect and it was frustrating at times. As with most shooters these days, BioWare decided to adopt the health regeneration feature for Mass Effect 2, but the medi-gels are still present and are now used to revive fallen allies.
Sci-fi epics are always a treat, and Mass Effect 2 has quite a nice story interweaved into all the action. In Mass Effect 2, you take control again as Shepard, the first ever human spectre who has no boundaries in exacting justice and making sure the universe and all its inhabitants are safe from whatever threats that may be coming to pawn them. After the defeat of Sovereign, Shepard and his crew fly off into space to defeat more geths, and aliens, and space pirates and whatnot. But then, this huge ship comes in out of nowhere and blasts you off into space, dangling as your oxygen escapes your suit and leaves you entering a planet’s atmosphere. And you’re dead. But this is a sci-fi story, so as with any other sci-fi stories out there, an organization named Cerberus decides to invest billions of credits to fund the Lazarus project in hopes of bringing you back to life so that you can find the ones responsible in killing you in the first place and kick their asses all over space until they get chronic diarrhea.
As with any other BioWare games, you get to make decisions that more or less affects the storyline. You can either choose to be the traditional paragon and do things like helping out those in need with a strict code of honor, or you can go renegade and become the ultimate badass by sticking to another code : shoot first and ask questions later, if ever. Your decisions can even be critical at times with some even affecting the outcome on whether or not you or any of your crewmates live or die throughout the game. Mass Effect 2 as with the first one is one big interactive sci-fi action movie, with role-play the way it was meant to be.
To get the ultimate experience of the story of Mass Effect, you’d best transfer your save file from the first Mass Effect and continue where you left off. This allows you to transfer your money and also all the actions you’ve taken in the first game. You can even change Shepard’s face or his class. For instance, if you were a soldier in the first game, you can pick out a different class such as an Engineer or an Adept. Or, you can choose to start off a new character with default actions in Mass Effect pre-chosen by the game.
Some characters from Mass Effect make a brief cameo in Mass Effect 2 while others get to join your crew again along with new members, all of which have depth and character in them. Needless to say, interaction is important in Mass Effect 2. Some interactions provide insights on the characters background while others will eventually lead to unlocking new missions and even upgrade availability. You can also proceed with a relationship with several of the characters, determined by the sex of Shepard.
As you fight your way through missions, you’ll level up and receive skill points to spend on upgrading or unlocking skills that help you unleash hell unto anyting that stands in your path. Another thing that they’ve changed in Mass Effect 2 is the upgrade feature. This time around, you’ll need to collect resources such as platinum and palladium from planets you’ve visited in order to perform upgrade on weapons, armors, the Normandy and also the unlocking of prototypes like new heavy weapons and the option to relocate your spent skill points. Thankfully though, you don’t have to drive the Mako all around planets to find them. Instead, you’ll be scanning planets sending out probes wherever resources are present on the scanner.
So, in the end, Mass Effect 2 is another solid title coming out from the great minds behind BioWare with little to no problems affecting the overall experience in any way, short from a few awkward glitches. The only thing I’m pissed off about Mass Effect 2 is not having the patience to wait for Mass Effect 3 to continue the story. Thankfully, Mass Effect 2 has a lot of DLC released and more still waiting to be released and with all the different paths you can choose, we’ll still be entertained by the time Mass Effect 3 does eventually come out.

Salam/hi.
Director: Michael Lembeck
Genre: Family Comedy
Movie Type: 13PG
Main Cast: Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock)
Release Year: 22.01.2010
Synopsis:
Tooth Fairy casts Johnson as Derek Thompson, a hockey player who has a nickname, ‘The Tooth Fairy’. He got his name for his brutal attack that costs his opponent a tooth. He always shatters other’s people hopes because he does not belief the existent of fairies and the important of dreams. He even shattered his girlfriend’s daughter belief about the tooth fairy. Because of his daring attitude and belief, he was charged with ‘disseminating disbelief’ and ordered to spend two weeks collecting kiddie’s teeth (tooth fairy). He also had wings, a uniform and a bag that will help him to this his new job.
Review:
The movie is supposed about Johnson’s new job, tooth fairies. However, the sequences are flat and we can easily predicted what is going to happened when he do his job. We can also see a big gap between Johnson and supporting actor like Stephen Merchant and Billy Crystal. Its look likes there are lack of comic chemistry between these actors. However, the movie is only successful when the hero lives in the real world, struggle to bond with his girlfriend son who is talented in music but has no self confidence and wrestling with his own disappointment and frustrated. It’s a good start for Johnson to start acting in this kind of comedy especially when he is surrounding with children. Overall, the story line is less predictable than what we can expect. It’s a good think as we will not easily get bored and keep our curiosity till the end of the movie.

1) Aperture priority setting:
- To get more out of focus background, use larger aperture.
- Suitable for taking portrait pictures.
- It will automatically set the shutter speed to the suitable number to get balance exposure.
- Smaller aperture is very useful in taking landscape picture.
- Smaller aperture will make the shutter speed longer thus giving sharper background in the image.
- Tripod is very important gear in this shooting mode.
Look at the background of the image. See the difference.
2) ISO setting:
- ISO setting differ for each camera.
- It is use to help shooting in low light condition.
- Larger ISO will give you brighter image in low light place.
- However, the disadvantage of this is it will add more noise to your image which is really unfavourable.
Happy News for Cheap Malaysian PS3 Owners

Admit it, if you’re living in Malaysia you’ve bought pirated games at least once in your entire life. But when you’re a Playstation fanboy and you decided to buy the PS3 back in 2006, like everyone else your game library has diminished significantly due to no availability of pirated PS3 games and your meagerly income couldn’t suffice the hundreds of videogames you could’ve bought like with your PS2, boohoo. Alas, your problem has been solved with the introduction of Blackmango Games, yay!
Founded back in December 2007, Blackmango Games allows you to rent PS3 games or Blu-ray movies for a fee, but naturally cheaper than buying the game. One thing I like about being able to do this is for the option of testing out a PS3 game before buying it. Of course, PSN has videogame demos, but I found a few demos that were great, but as it turns out the actual game is a flop for example because of repetitiveness. Sure, you can read reviews, but at the end of the day the verdict is given out by you, the gamer. Anyways, Blackmango Games offer you with three different packages depending on what type of gamer you are, from hardcore, to the basic gamer, to the casual. They also offer the ability to trade in your current PS3 titles (the ones that you’re keeping for a “collection”) for membership fees. Now, if you live anywhere in the Klang Valley area, you can just go pick up your games at such places as Mid Valley Megamall, KL Sentral, and Desa Sri Hartamas. If however you live outside the Klang Valley area, fear not for they’ll just mail you your game.

As we all know, independent music is a new phenomena in our country. Easy to be called as indie music, it has attracted our teenagers to listen to local music than foreign countries' music. It is better right to support our local product - parallel to our government's campaign? There are many indie bands right now, but for this time, we choose a band named The Lipstik. Have you all heard about this band? Let's check it out.
AGEZINE: How was The Lipstik formed?
THE LIPSTIK: The story is like this; The Lipstik was formed on early 2008 in Johor Bahru, exactly on 26th January 2008. At that time, Ali liked to make his own band that brings on 60's music. Then, Ali told his friend; Jack, about his dream. So, they two found another two members to fill lineup of the band. After the band lineup completed, we compose our own songs. And alhamdulillah, after we played our demo to public, we got a positive responses and we all didn't expect that much. Then we started to get offers to perform from many organizers. Actually, before The Lipstik is formed, we had played for other band in the same genre but that band didn't last long.
AGEZINE: How about lineup of the band?
THE LIPSTIK: We have 4 members who are;
AGEZINE: You have a new album called Epik, right? Can you tell us about that?
THE LIPSTIK: Oh sure! This Epik is not released yet. Everything will be informed at our official Myspace website. To all our fans, do not forget to get this album ya? There would be 6 songs in it, which are;
The Lipstik's upcoming show is SoundMachine INDIE GOODNESS Volume 2 at Number One Cafe, Jalan TAR Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahaman,Kuala Lumpur on 13 March 2010. If you want to get the ticket, just call the number below;

Interested in making money but still having headache thinking of the best way? Don't burden yourself too much. We believe that business should be something you yourself have interest in running it so that it would be less stressful and sustainable. Take your time, do some studies, calculate the risk and with God's will, you are on your way to be the next successful entrepreneur.
A group of UTP students who call themselves Antique Bakery Boyz has found their suitable business and they are happily doing it until now. Follow their story and we hope they would inspire you.
"People love business, so we are too. The story of our business started when we were really desperate in looking a new thing that has potential to commercialize among UTP students. The idea came out when we did some surveys in the Internet and we found a blog about cupcake. Yes! Cupcake is still new and it seems to have a bright future. Three of us took the challenge to try this new thing and our first work started by looking for a cupcake maker in Ipoh. After some surveys, we found a lady who is really serious in doing cupcakes and she had done many beautiful designs of cupcake that make us fall in love with her artwork. Without any doubt, we made a conjunction with her and our business is begun.
The first order was made by one of our friends who is a committee of Martial Art Festival. We do really appreciate that very first order because she actually boosted our spirit and gave us confidence that cupcake could be famous in UTP. And alhamdulillah, after the first order, we got many orders from other friends who are really interested with our cupcakes - the thing that we never expected! This could be because of our low price for one cupcake, creative designs and beautiful packaging. Besides, we also have 2 flavors for our cupcakes; vanilla and chocolate. How about the taste? This should not be questioned because they are really delicious. It is a fact that shouldn’t be doubted!
Perhaps, there would be more orders in the future. In making our work easier, we build our own blog; http://antiquebakeryboyz.blogspot.com. For us, blog is the best medium for us to communicate with our customers and it may give our customers much information about our products - our new designs, and weekly updates. Our blog really helps us as the orders are increasing every day. Starting next year and new semester, we are planning to make more advertisements and introduce new packaging style. Perhaps, this could make the demands for our cupcakes among UTP students itself become higher in the future. For us, nothing is impossible because all of these are depend on our effort and spirit to improve our business."
More nice and tasty cupcakes.

Global Warming: The Biggest Scam on Earth?
Posted on

What's Happening?
Salam/hi.
We always hear about the global warming along with it's so-called factor; carbon dioxide gas. Leaders around the world pledge to reduce CO2 emission while green activists rallying across the world to save the world from the global warming threat. But it is true that global warming is happening? And is it exist at the first place? Several scientists and other professionals rise up to this matter. David Demming, a geophysicist and associate professor of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma stated in "The Coming Ice Age" in American Thinker;
"Global warming predictions by meteorologists are based on speculative, untested, and poorly constrained computer models. But our knowledge of ice ages is based on a wide variety of reliable data, including cores from the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets. In this case, it would be perspicacious to listen to the geologists, not the meteorologists. By reducing our production of carbon dioxide, we risk hastening the advent of the next ice age. Even more foolhardy and dangerous is the Obama administration's announcement that they may try to cool the planet through geoengineering. Such a move in the middle of a cooling trend could provoke the irreversible onset of an ice age. It is not hyperbole to state that such a climatic change would mean the end of human civilization as we know it."
Now that is really shocking guys..we are heading to another ice age. As we can see now, the Europe regions being hit by terrible blizzard. So terrible and threatening life. How can global warming can cause such cold condition? There must be something wrong here with global warming theory.
Hans Schreuder who was an analytical chemist revealing the truth about CO2 gas and the misconception of green house effect. According to Schreuder, in the last 5000 years earth had 4 major warm periods an yet, the 20th century warm period is the COOLEST of all 4.
This are some of points regarding basic life and climate realities by Hans Schreuder:
Right now, it is hard to tell who is telling the truth. Considering this long list of climatologists and scientists who disagree with human made global warming, I would say global warming might be the biggest scam on earth. The evidence lies in front of us should open our eyes on what is going on right now. Still, there are much to be discussed before conclusion is taken.
And for us, we say we must first think about other earth problems like solid waste and water pollutions. Peace.
We always hear about the global warming along with it's so-called factor; carbon dioxide gas. Leaders around the world pledge to reduce CO2 emission while green activists rallying across the world to save the world from the global warming threat. But it is true that global warming is happening? And is it exist at the first place? Several scientists and other professionals rise up to this matter. David Demming, a geophysicist and associate professor of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma stated in "The Coming Ice Age" in American Thinker;

This are some of points regarding basic life and climate realities by Hans Schreuder:
- Climate change occurs, naturally, all the time.
- All of life and all affordable and reliable energy on Planet Earth is based on carbon.
- No evidence exist that CO2 cause warming (it can't)
- Earth is not 33ÂșC warmer than it should be due to a magical greenhouse effect.
- CO2 is not a pollutant, it is a vital life-giving gas.

Salam/hi.
Firstly, welcome to AGEzine! official site; the site that proves reading does make you rich.
You must be asking "What is AGEzine?", right? Actually AGEzine! is a combination of "AGE" and "zine". "AGE" is the abbreviation of art, green and entrepreneur which are the three main aspects we are focusing on. The most significant would be entrepreneur as our goal is to educate people to make money through creative and environment friendly ways.
As the technology is impressively spreading its wings, we are called upon to benefit it by making a digital reading material or electronic magazine (e-zine) that is readable by anyone around the globe. That's where the "zine" come from.
Combining them and coming out with AGEzine! mean that we are in our quest to provide the world with a reading material that inspires and teaches people how to become creative and environment considerate entrepreneurs, and even offers promotion opportunities for their businesses.
But hey, who are the "we" here? We are Students In Free Enterprise of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (SIFEUTP). We are honored to have you guys along in our mission to make the world a better place; the world without poverty, with God's will.
