First of all, I would like to thank to everyone for their comments and opinion for the last post "Lagenda Budak Setan". So, what's coming on popcorn this week? The A-Team!
I know it's been quite late for the review, but I believe, there are many of you who didn't watched this movie yet. Right? Maybe, some of you prefer to watch Jackie Chan in the Karate Kid rather than Jesica Biel in The A-Team. Hmm.. Who knows..
What is this movie all about? For your information, this movie was adapted from a tv series back in '80s and directed by Joe Carnahan. And not to mention, my father was a fan of the series! "I pity the fool" was one the favourite quotes at that time taken from the series. However, eventhough I never watch the series before, I truly feel that this remake deserved the same title as the original gem in the 80's.
Four American soldiers who are in Iraq are sent on a mission to recover plates for printing 100 dollar bills that were used to print a billion dollars. After doing the job and returning to the base their commanding officer is killed in an explosion and the plates are stolen by another operative. They would be court martialed and sent to different prisons. 6 months later, the leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who tells him he knows where the man who took the plates is and wants him and his men to recover it. So he helps him escape and he breaks out the others and they go after the plates. But after doing it, they discover that the spook might not be ok. And a military intelligence officer who was involved with one of them is pursuing them.
"The A-Team" follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going "rogue," they utilize their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, mixed martial arts champ Quinton Jackson, and Sharlto Copley, are "The A-Team."
Cast by many great actors this remake will blast your mind by their spontaneous actions. Liam Neeson as Col. 'Hannibal' Smith, Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, Jessica Biel as Charisa Sosa, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson as Cpl. Bosco 'B.A' Baracus, Sharlto Copley as Murdock and Patrick Wilson as Lynch.
